Hypothetical

Let's say you were told you would never have to worry about money again. By not having to worry about money, I mean that, while never receiving any actual money, anything you needed money for would be taken care of by some anonymous source.

There is, however, one condition: every day, you have to stuff a monkey into a duck.

Would you do it?

Discuss.

Would they be alive or dead?

Alive... to start, anyway. How they end up depends on how good you get at it.

Could you lure the monkey into the duck with bananas and the sweet seductive sounds of Barry White?

You may use whatever means you think will work, just as long as, at the end of each day, the monkey is in the duck.

Not a chance!

Explain why not. What are your issues with the problem posed.

Based on the simplicity of the request, I would surmise there's no practical purpose to duck stuffing. Working for no purpose seems unfulfilling.

I wish no harm to the many frogs and ducks.

And of course, the big question... why would some anonymous source see value in such an action? The psycological confusion could be dangerous.

I have no idea what the value would be to the anonymous source. I only know what the results would be for you. And as for harm to the monkeys and/or ducks, perhaps you could devise a system that harms neither.

Assuming the stuffing somehow didn't harm either animal, the senslessness and strangeness of the task still doesn't attract much interest.

Can it be a stuffed monkey and a stuffed duck?
Not actually living creatures, but those comprised fully of synthetic materials?

No. This is in no way metaphorical. Real animals only.

How big of a monkey and duck we talking here. Like could i use sea monkeys that you buy and grow at home.

what a strange and sexy beast this has become..

Sea monkeys are not technically monkeys, so, no. However, if you can find tiny real monkeys, then go for it.

... and, yes, this has become quite the discussion. Awesome.

I hate that my last comment somehow got deleted. Maybe this monster of a conversation ate my last words.
